Professional Background

I am pleased to introduce myself. My background includes a strong foundation in psychology, crisis counseling, marketing, and regulated financial services, all of which have shaped my approach to responsibility, diligence, ethics, and client advocacy.

Don saved my family thousands by insisting on fair market value for my grandfathers home and finding overcharges in his estate, I am so happy to have found him.

About Me

I was born in Miamisburg Ohio, moved to Bonita Springs in 1983 with my family and started my last year of elementary school. The strawberries fields on US-41, across from the school have long been replaced. Southwest Florida was a fantastic area to grow up, sunsets at the beach with your friends, not much could get better. Then I attended Florida State University. After graduation, I moved back and never had the desire to live anywhere else. While I’ve experienced plenty of storms and even a few hurricanes, literately and metaphorically, this is my home and I love it.

A valued friend’s encouragement is how I became a Guardian and my professional experiences is what compelled me do it. I have a very specialized skill set in relation to real estate, investments, and complex financial matters that is extremely rare. Talking with a close friend, I made mention that I am going to make some professional changes and that my hope and prayer is that I can be sincerely helpful. He said without hesitation, "you should be a Guardian" so I took his advice, not completely understanding the gravity of it. Fully understanding the gravity of it now, I don't believe there is any other endeavor in which my time and talent could be of greater service.

My Mom is my reason why I’m a Professional Guardian. She was a very funny, smart, sweet lady but tough. I miss her every day, who couldn’t, for lack of a better term, fight for herself. I fought every step of the way on her behalf in terms of care, housing, and resolving financial matters. It’s been years and still difficult to write this but I did everything in my power make her remaining days the best possible. That’s the goal, same if it were my family, that’s the standard I stive to achieve for others. Everyone deserves an advocate, someone who will speak up for those who have no voice.
